Oak and Stainless Steel

Oak, Stainless Steel and Mild Steel working together to create a large open timber engineered kitchen space. With large open walls looking out on to a course yard through large sliding glass doors.

The kitchen connects the existing barns on the site together. It joins the master bedroom, which we completed earlier the previous year, to the other large barn on site which is to be a living room.

The trusses consist of mild steel connector and tie rods (requested by the client) which are fed through a stainless steel tube fitted into the oak principle rafters. Adjustments were made until all circular connectors lined through perfectly.
