Mr Jones approached us to build him three green oak, king post trusses to replace a softwood roofed extension.

He wanted to keep the aesthetic of the double run of purlins as per the old softwood roof, so rather than having wind braces from the purlins (which we would have struggled to fit) we suggested a bracing from the King Post to Ridge. These now create a lovely feature in the new kitchen and living room.

It was a great project to work on and we can’t wait to see the completed building.
